1. Introductory provisions
These terms govern the provision of electrical engineering and IT services by the provider. They apply in particular to services ordered by e-mail, telephone, contact form or individual quotation.
The customer may be a consumer or a business. A written agreement takes precedence over these terms.
2. Scope of services
Electrical services
- electrical installations, installation work, repairs and technical support,
- technical designs and project preparation within the provider's professional competence,
- smart homes, CCTV and security systems,
- measurements and testing of electrical equipment within the applicable authorisations.
IT services
- design, installation and administration of data networks and Wi-Fi,
- configuration of routers, switches, firewalls and related infrastructure,
- administration of Linux, web and e-mail servers,
- development and maintenance of web applications and backends.
The scope, timing, price and deliverables of a specific project are agreed in the quotation, order or order confirmation.
3. Orders and contract formation
An enquiry is not itself an acceptance of an order. A contract is formed when the provider confirms the order or otherwise demonstrably accepts the specific quotation.
The provider may request additional information, an advance payment or another reasonable payment guarantee before work begins.
4. Price and payment terms
Indicative rates are published in the price list. Work is billed in half-hour increments. Travel expenses are CZK 10/km based on the actual round-trip distance.
Materials, hardware, licences, third-party transport and third-party services are charged separately unless agreed otherwise. EUR amounts are indicative conversions; the price agreed in the quotation or invoice is decisive.
5. Customer cooperation
The customer must provide timely, complete and accurate information, access to the place of performance and the necessary cooperation. If cooperation is not provided, the delivery date may be reasonably postponed.
6. Handover and defects
The result is handed over in a manner appropriate to the service. The customer must report apparent defects without undue delay and hidden defects after discovery.
Complaints must be submitted in writing to info@it-elektro.cz. A complaint does not suspend the obligation to pay the undisputed part of the price.
7. Consumer withdrawal
When a contract is concluded with a consumer at a distance or outside business premises, the consumer may generally withdraw within 14 days unless an exception applies by law.
If the consumer expressly requests that the service begin before this period expires, the consumer acknowledges the obligation to pay a proportionate part of the price for the performance already provided. For a fully performed service, the right of withdrawal may cease under the conditions set by the Czech Civil Code.
8. Liability
The provider is liable for damage and defects to the extent required by law. The provider is not liable for consequences caused by improper use, third-party intervention, lack of cooperation or use contrary to the provided instructions.
9. Copyright and confidentiality
Deliverables created for a customer must not be made available to third parties in a way that infringes the author's rights or trade secrets. The provider keeps confidential all non-public information obtained during performance.
10. Personal data
Personal data processing is governed by the separate Privacy policy.
11. Final provisions
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Invalidity of one provision does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The current version is published on the provider's website.
